Alissa Alfonso is a creator and curator by nature who lives to juxtapose upcycled elements, combine color and texture, and mix fantasy with reality to create unexpected yet delightful artistic experiences.
Years of experience as a working artist has led her to create SQUATTER, a 1973 Shasta Compact trailer, that has been creatively transformed into fully interactive pop-up mobile Art Gallery.
SQUATTER serves as a platform for artists to showcase their work. Alissa strives to help artists circumvent the roadblocks many hit by bringing their art to the community through pop-up appearances at existing community exhibits, as well as exclusive SQUATTER events.
“I think it is not only important to not only create interesting art that excites your audience, but to help the art community while doing so…”
